I recently started to wear sunglasses again, which means that the days are brighter and sun is making it’s appearance again. The weather is slowly getting warmer and our winter depression is coming to an end, yay! With spring approaching I always get the urge to change something in my home. New colors on my cushions, some new decor and, of course, new prints.
With a new season comes new inspiration, and right now we’re all about the nude, toned color palette with basic colored contrasts, such as black. I have been obsessing over beige tones for a while, but now I’m toning it down even more and going for that subtle, nude look. I’m talking about that light beige and grey which just almost converts into whites, but there’s enough color in it to make it, what I call, “nude”.
This color scheme is perfect for the Nordic and Scandinavian styled home. The colors look good basically anywhere, and the designs are unique and eye-catching.
Create an interesting art wall with nude tones in contrast with black. Play around with different frames and sizes to give your gallery that little extra. Using floating frames gives the artwork it’s own personal space to really show, plus it adds that diversity to the poster wall.
